Job description
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate code assignments for facility outpatient, same day surgery, and observation records
- Meet client productivity targets while maintaining coding quality of 95% or greater
- Maintain a committed regular schedule with reliable and punctual attendance
Requirements
- AHIMA or AAPC certification
- Minimum of three years of coding experience in an acute care setting
- Experience accurately assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to outpatient records
- Technical competency with remote connectivity including VPN, multi-factor authentication, and video conferencing
- Proficiency with Outlook and Excel
