Job description

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of new packaging solutions from concept through implementation, ensuring performance, quality, cost, and sustainability objectives are met
  • Assist in packaging development projects by coordinating testing, material evaluations, and documentation
  • Contribute to achieving circular economy and sustainability targets through innovative packaging solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Manufacturing
  • Evaluate packaging designs to ensure compliance with international recycling, health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize packaging performance and manufacturing efficiency
  • Conduct market and consumer research to gather insights on packaging trends and sustainability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 2-5 years of experience in packaging development, packaging engineering, or manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and packaging technologies
  • Understanding of sustainability principles, circular economy concepts, and recyclable packaging design
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of CAD software or packaging design tools is an advantage
