Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments for new patients, reviewing medical histories and current symptoms
• Work collaboratively with consultants and other clinicians as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
• Provide clear, empathetic education about cannabis-based treatments, including benefits and side effects
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous, and confidential records using electronic health record systems
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations, professional standards, and patient confidentiality requirements
• Act as the first point of contact for new patients, responding to concerns with clinical insight

Requirements

• Registered Paramedic qualification
• Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-registration clinical experience as a paramedic
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills for virtual and remote consultation environments
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

• Telemedicine or remote consultation experience
