Job description

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic relationships with partners and increase stickiness with Ubuntu technology
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms
  • Lead executive interlocks between partners and Canonical leadership team
  • Work closely with marketing, sales engineering, and product management to deliver on targets
  • Animate customer workshops, sales events, and executive engagements
  • Own the strategy for sell-to, sell-through, and sell-with motions with GSIs

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles
  • Extensive experience with OpenStack, virtualization, containers, and Cloud technologies
  • Deep understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystem
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 40% of the time
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to capture customer requirements and identify new opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of partner organizations and sales models, specifically with Global System Integrators
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
