Job description
Responsibilities
- Build strategic relationships with partners and increase stickiness with Ubuntu technology
- Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms
- Lead executive interlocks between partners and Canonical leadership team
- Work closely with marketing, sales engineering, and product management to deliver on targets
- Animate customer workshops, sales events, and executive engagements
- Own the strategy for sell-to, sell-through, and sell-with motions with GSIs
Requirements
- Extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles
- Extensive experience with OpenStack, virtualization, containers, and Cloud technologies
- Deep understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystem
- Ability to travel internationally up to 40% of the time
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to capture customer requirements and identify new opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of partner organizations and sales models, specifically with Global System Integrators
- Experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
