Job description

Responsibilities

  • Deliver responsive customer experience via phone, email, text, and chat
  • Manage complex insurance workflows, secondary coverage, and authorization requirements
  • Verify insurance benefits and ensure timely financial clearance
  • Prepare, submit, and track prior authorizations
  • Support billing inquiries regarding EOBs, deductibles, and copays
  • Partner with clinical and operations teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Resolve front-end rejections and registration-related denials
  • Maintain documentation quality in CRM/EHR systems in compliance with HIPAA and PCI
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new team members

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2–3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, patient access, or revenue cycle support
  • Proficiency with EHR/CRM systems and payer portals
  • Strong knowledge of insurance terminology (EOBs, COB, medical necessity)
  • Demonstrated success meeting SLAs in high-volume environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in healthcare administration or business
  • Prior experience in telehealth or multi-state healthcare environments
