Patient Billing Associate

Responsibilities

• Personally engage customers to proactively resolve issues impacting account growth or retention
• Respond to phone, email, and web inquiries from physician offices, sales reps, and patients
• Handle inquiries regarding technology, products, costs, billing, and insurance coverage
• Maintain precise documentation of all communications and follow-up activities
• Contact patients via outbound calling and SMS to explain costs and address billing concerns
• Coordinate with medical personnel to obtain missing information for reimbursement
• Manage a customer contact queue and follow a scheduled contact cadence
• Handle 20-30 inbound and 40-50 outbound calls per day

Requirements

• 2+ years of prior client-facing experience
• Background in Inside Sales or Customer Service in a high-volume environment
• Experience using Salesforce
• Advanced organizational skills and ability to handle multiple assignments
• Ability to navigate complex workflows and technology
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish
