Patient Financial Services Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate reconciliation and management of legacy and Athena patient balances
• Manage and escalate invalid balances
• Advocate for and apply financial assistance and hardship resources
• Process and manage credit card agreements, unapplied credits, and refunds
• Manage internal and external patient collection processes
• Maintain clean and accurate patient demographic and financial data
• Answer patient billing inquiries and communicate patient balances
