Payment Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage daily settlement pipeline and exception reporting for payment setup and clearing
• Communicate with creditors and agencies via phone and email to clear payment exceptions
• Support the acquisition of required documentation for successful payment remittance
• Request proof of payment from collection agencies, creditors, and third-party processors
• Utilize banking ledgers to determine fund availability and ensure sufficient account balances
• Scan and attach documents to client accounts in Salesforce
• Research and handle escalation issues with high accuracy
• Provide word processing, typing, and proofreading support

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree preferred or 3-5 years of experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Outlook
• Salesforce experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail under pressure
• Proven ability to work cooperatively with various management levels
