About the Company

Lightspeed is the leading provider of cloud-based software for dealerships, serving the Powersport, Marine, RV, Trailer, and Golf Car industries. Their Dealer Management Solution (DMS) enables dealerships to optimize end-to-end business operations including sales, parts, service, and payments.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day payment operations, including transaction monitoring and issue escalation
  • Manage and optimize merchant onboarding workflows (KYC/KYB, underwriting, approvals)
  • Oversee settlement, funding, and reconciliation processes in partnership with Finance
  • Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), SLAs, and playbooks
  • Monitor operational health and identify anomalies impacting dealers or customers
  • Lead triage and resolution of operational issues across internal and external teams
  • Establish and maintain dashboards for key metrics like authorization rates and chargebacks
  • Track and report performance criteria including margin, revenue, and growth
  • Collaborate with Risk and Compliance to maintain fraud and regulatory controls
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive product and process improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in payments operations, merchant acquiring, or fintech
  • Strong understanding of payment processing flows (authorization, settlement, chargebacks)
  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS, KYC/KYB, and AML regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to build and document operational processes in high-growth environments
  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing revenue and growth metrics
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in dealer-centric or high-ticket retail industries (powersports, RV, marine)
  • Hands-on experience with merchant onboarding in a PayFac or PFaaS environment
  • Background with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) or embedded payments
  • Experience scaling payments programs and defining KPIs
