Responsibilities

  • Serve as a specialist-level support for all inquiries related to German and Swiss payroll runs, ensuring strict adherence to local compliance and tax regulations.
  • Act as the regional subject matter expert for all payroll-related matters in the DACH region, keeping stakeholders informed of changes or updates.
  • Function as the main point of contact for urgent issues and customer escalations, including participating in customer video calls to resolve complex problems.
  • Work autonomously to resolve customer escalations diligently and quickly.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience, Payroll Operations, and other internal teams to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide premium support to specific high-priority customers to ensure high satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience processing end-to-end payroll specifically for Germany and/or Switzerland (Non-negotiable).
  • Professional fluency in German.
  • Deep understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance standards within the DACH region.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles.
  • Strong automation and AI fluency.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with comfort in asynchronous environments.
  • Ability to work a fixed weekly schedule from Saturday through Wednesday (weekend availability is required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fully remote environment.
  • Experience with Global Payroll or Employer of Record (EOR) payroll models.
