People Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Support people leaders within assigned client groups and provide guidance and coaching
• Drive accountability for performance and behavioral standards through corrective action
• Act as point-of-contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
• Maintain a positive environment by coaching for employee development
• Apply knowledge of employment law and HR risk mitigation across multiple states
• Assist the People Partner team with key enterprise-wide initiatives and projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of Human Resources experience working with multiple client groups
• Extensive experience with corrective and disciplinary action practices
• Strong communication skills for conveying complex HR and legal concepts
• Proven track record in mentoring and coaching managers and employees
• Experience supporting HR programs such as career pathing, leveling, and learning programs
• Ability to track and complete projects in a timely manner
• Tech-savvy with comfort using multiple HR platforms and data
• Expertise in HR compliance and legal requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
• Professional HR certifications
• Training or certification as a coach
