People Lead

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive team and functional leaders on org design, workforce planning, and leadership needs
• Clarify hiring standards, promotion expectations, and talent bar across teams
• Design and evolve performance management philosophy
• Coach managers on feedback, expectations, and difficult conversations
• Build manager habits and operating cadences
• Partner with leadership on compensation, promotions, and retention
• Own benefits, payroll coordination, compliance, and core people operations
• Partner with legal counsel on investigations and policy development

Requirements

• Experience scaling a high-performing company through rapid growth (e.g., 200 to 500+ employees)
• Significant experience coaching managers through performance management
• Experience leading employee investigations and complex offboardings
• Ability to balance strategic discussions with hands-on operational work
• Exceptional judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence
