About the Company

Epoch AI is a research institute that investigates trends in machine learning and the economic consequences of AI. Our mission is to develop a comprehensive, publicly accessible knowledge base on AI that informs policymakers, industry leaders, and society at large.

Responsibilities

  • Own employee and contractor onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Serve as a main point of contact for staff support regarding benefits, payroll, and policies
  • Maintain the internal handbook containing staff guidance and processes
  • Manage relationships with PEOs, EORs, and other HR service providers
  • Track employee contracts and manage employment visa sponsorship processes
  • Coordinate performance reviews and track compliance requirements across jurisdictions
  • (Manager level) Design HR processes, drive strategic decisions on benefits, and mentor staff
