People Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Own core people operations areas: onboarding, offboarding, policy / leave administration, benefits, payroll, and compliance
• Manage benefits end-to-end including employee support, leave management, open enrollment, and vendor relationships
• Design and execute HRIS operations and manage system migrations
• Own the PEO relationship to ensure smooth payroll and compliance across all states
• Manage people reporting and data such as headcount and attrition
• Evolve people policies to be current, accessible, and useful
• Maintain high operational excellence for employee inquiries and processes

Requirements

• 5+ years in People Operations or HR Operations
• Experience at a Series B-D startup
• Experience with HRIS systems and PEOs
• Solid grasp of multi-state employment compliance
• Builder's mindset with a focus on process improvement
• Low ego and high ownership approach
• Ability to operate with high judgment in ambiguous situations
