People Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Answering research questions regarding internal ticketing workflows, employee service requests, and HR policy
• Reviewing real-world HR and People Ops scenarios such as onboarding, ticket triage, and leave administration
• Participating in structured surveys or interviews to inform research into service management practices
• Providing informed feedback on tools, workflows, and processes related to ITSM/ESM platforms
• Contributing subject matter expertise to help research teams understand how HR functions evaluate service management platforms

Requirements

• Director-level or above experience in HR, People Operations, or a related function
• Deep background in HR Operations, People Operations, or Employee Relations
• Hands-on experience with ITSM or ESM platforms such as Jira Service Management, Freshservice, ServiceNow, Atomicwork, or Moveworks
• Experience as a decision maker or key stakeholder for platform selection, implementation, or management
• Exceptional written communication skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to complete tasks requiring one hour of uninterrupted work
• A PayPal account to receive payment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with HRIS platforms like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, or Oracle HCM
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for workforce analytics
• Experience with Notion or Jira for asynchronous collaboration
