Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of People to integrate HR policies with employee experience initiatives
  • Support the development and execution of people policies across the full employee lifecycle
  • Manage employee status and supporting data via Notion and Gusto
  • Execute the culture onboarding program to ensure new hires experience company values
  • Manage staff gifting and celebrations through Bonusly
  • Execute staff development gatherings, including Team Intensives and SLT Onsite Gatherings
  • Manage RSVPs, travel arrangements, itineraries, and on-site event logistics
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendors for catering, hotels, and transportation
  • Own full budget management for events and maintain People Team budget hygiene
  • Track and reconcile event expenses in Brex
  • Manage employee laptops and IT infrastructure

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in People Ops, HR execution, Recruiting, or employee engagement
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to design systems that balance structure with human-centered care
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders to implement people systems
  • Alignment with Overflow's mission and values

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience scaling people operations in high-growth environments
  • Skilled in recognition, celebration, and culture-building programs
  • Detail-oriented with experience stewarding department budgets
  • Strong communicator able to connect executive strategy to daily practices
