Responsibilities

  • Own the regional growth strategy for African markets, including market prioritization, channel philosophy, and investment allocation.
  • Set the strategic direction for paid acquisition across Google, Meta, TikTok, programmatic, affiliates, and mobile DSPs.
  • Collaborate on strategic brand-building initiatives, including OOH and large-scale media partnerships, to ensure a coherent identity.
  • Partner with brand, product, analytics, and creative leadership to align marketing requirements with broader business decisions.
  • Lead the strategic assessment of market dynamics and competitive positioning to identify high-value growth levers.
  • Translate complex performance data and analytics into clear strategic narratives and investment plans for executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing or user acquisition.
  • Proven experience scaling digital campaigns specifically within African markets.
  • Strong expertise with major performance marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok, etc.).
  • Advanced analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into actionable decisions.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French or Portuguese is a significant advantage.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including paid media, funnels, and attribution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in finance, gaming, or other highly regulated digital industries.
  • Experience managing both web and app acquisition at scale.
  • Prior exposure to working in fast-growing, performance-driven environments.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools such as Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Adjust, or BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.
