Personal Injury Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Support clients and attorneys through the full lifecycle of personal injury cases, including case development and litigation assistance.
• Manage medical records and bills by requesting, tracking, and organizing documentation from healthcare providers.
• Coordinate with medical providers, insurance carriers, and lien holders to ensure accurate case documentation.
• Assist in demand preparation by assembling settlement packages, medical summaries, and supporting evidence.
• Provide litigation support through drafting discovery responses, organizing exhibits, and coordinating depositions or mediations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information within the firm's case management system.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of Personal Injury Paralegal experience (auto, premises, workers’ comp, etc.).
• Strong understanding of personal injury processes from intake through settlement or litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with technology and case management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Litigation experience including state/federal court, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Experience summarizing medical records and understanding medical terminology.
• Familiarity with lien resolution processes.
• Experience with Salesforce, Litify, or similar legal software.
• Paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA-accredited program.
