Job description

Responsibilities

  • Interpret formulary and clinical program performance data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Translate data findings into actionable clinical recommendations for leadership
  • Incorporate AI tools into daily workflow for literature review, PA criteria drafting, and data summarization
  • Support development, maintenance, and updating of formularies and drug lists
  • Develop and maintain prior authorization criteria and clinical coverage policies
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Data & Insights, Cost of Goods, and Client Operations
  • Provide clinical support to operational teams and clients during implementation and ongoing management

Requirements

  • PharmD required; active pharmacist licensure in at least one US state
  • 1–3 years of experience in managed care pharmacy, health plan, or PBM (or PGY1/PGY2 residency)
  • Proficient with AI tools in a professional context
  • Working knowledge of formulary management, PA criteria development, and managed care fundamentals
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting data dashboards and utilization reports
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PBM platform formulary coding or claims adjudication workflows
  • Familiarity with CMS formulary compliance requirements or Medicare Part D operations
  • Experience using AI tools for clinical literature review, policy drafting, or documentation
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, startup environment
