Job description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound telephone outreach to patients to introduce pharmacy services and guide enrollment
  • Deliver standardized messaging using approved scripts to manage patient questions and objections
  • Obtain and document patient consent via phone
  • Update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with pharmacy preferences and trigger electronic prescriptions
  • Manage outreach queues and follow-up cadences based on urgency
  • Accurately document all call activity and coordination in clinical and operational systems
  • Meet call center performance targets including call quality and productivity
  • Uphold HIPAA standards and patient privacy

Requirements

  • Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
  • Experience in telephonic, call-center, or high-volume outbound patient outreach
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or care coordination
  • Proficiency working within an Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA
  • Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to work in a dedicated, interruption-free remote space
  • Home internet with minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a healthcare call center
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience with phone-based consent capture or enrollment workflows
  • Background in care navigation and social determinants of health
  • Familiarity with chronic disease medications and prescription coverage terminology
