Responsibilities

• Serve as direct member and provider contact for specialty pharmacy benefit information, prior authorization requests, and navigation support
• Support members enrolled in specialty management programs, including coordinating prior authorizations, prescription fulfillment, and patient assistance programs
• Field questions from members, HR departments, pharmacies, and providers regarding specialty distribution, benefit design, and cost of medication
• Support Specialty Clinical Pharmacists in patient and provider outreaches, including scheduling and medication adherence support
• Conduct quality reviews of calls, chats, and documentation notes to ensure operating and productivity standards are met
• Ensure regulatory and privacy standards are consistently met

Requirements

• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
• 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy technician role within a Specialty pharmacy, PBM, or managed care setting
• Knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication and benefit designs/terminology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for phone, email, and chat interaction
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Bi-lingual (Spanish)
