Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative care screenings, complete medication reconciliation, and diagnose medical conditions.
• Provide health coaching, referrals, and treatment to members virtually.
• Conduct outreach to chronically ill members and those with a lower probability of seeing their PCP.
• Identify opportunities to improve member access to care through licensed providers.
• Cross-train into urgent care and/or virtual primary care service lines as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program.
• Board Certification (NCCPA).
• 3+ years of experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.
• Active licensure in Georgia AND one of the following: Florida, Texas, or Ohio.
• Experience with Clinical Documentation Improvement and/or managing HEDIS quality measures.
• Ability to obtain licensure in additional states.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
