Physician Billing Associate Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage client billing and ensure procedures are billed according to contracts
• Review and update client statements as necessary
• Print and mail paper and secondary claims
• Scan documents to patient accounts
• Review correspondence and perform necessary follow-up

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience
• 1-2 years of hospital billing experience
• CRCR certification required within 6 months of hire
• Ability to maintain a HIPAA compliant workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations
• Insurance follow-up experience
• Home health care billing experience
• Experience with Epic
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and managed care
