Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients in a virtual setting using audio, video, and written communication
  • Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Leads on the care team when managing complex patients
  • Follow up on labs, imaging, and maintain closed-loop communication with patients and other providers
  • Utilize virtual examination tools, including remote home monitoring equipment and point-of-care diagnostics
  • Participate in a collaborative care model involving nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, and behavioral health clinicians
  • Engage in required clinical meetings, including huddles, case conferencing, and regular service line All Hands
  • Provide feedback to support the continuous improvement of operational workflows and product features

Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited program
  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ER), Family Medicine (FM), or Internal Medicine (IM)
  • Spanish fluency (ability to read, write, and speak)
  • 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience
  • 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care/telemedicine
  • Licensed in at least three of the following states: TX, TN, FL, GA, OH, NJ
  • IMLCC compact license or eligibility for a compact license
  • Must reside in one of the following states: AZ, AR, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NV, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, TX, or VA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability and willingness to obtain additional licensure in other Oscar Medical Group states including AZ, CA, CT, IA, IL, KS, MI, NC, NE, NY, OK, PA, or VA
