Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients in a virtual setting using audio, video, and written communication
  • Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Leads on the Care Team when managing complex patients
  • Follow up on labs, imaging, and maintain closed-loop communication with patients and other providers
  • Utilize digital tooling to perform virtual exams, including remote home monitoring and point-of-care diagnostics
  • Participate in a collaborative care model alongside registered nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, and behavioral health clinicians
  • Engage in required team meetings, including huddles, case conferencing, and regular service line All Hands
  • Provide feedback to improve operational workflows and product features

Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited program
  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ER), Family Medicine (FM), or Internal Medicine (IM)
  • 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience
  • 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care/telemedicine
  • Current licensure in Tennessee and Florida, and an active IMLC
  • Compact license from IMLCC or eligibility for a compact license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability and willingness to obtain additional licensure in other Oscar Medical Group states
  • Spanish fluency (reading, writing, and speaking)
