Pivot Engineer

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support PIVOT platform components and associated systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system performance, availability, and functionality
• Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
• Monitor system health and analyze logs to identify and resolve issues proactively
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and customer stakeholders
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures
• Participate in testing, validation, and deployment activities
• Provide technical recommendations for system improvements and optimization efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise IT systems, platform engineering, or systems administration
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical environments
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Experience with virtualization, cloud, networking, or enterprise applications
• Ability to obtain and maintain required government credentials or security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting federal government or DoD environments
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices
• Experience with automation and scripting tools
• Industry certifications such as Security+, Network+, Azure, or AWS
