Platform and Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Administer and integrate business-critical SaaS systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, and Stripe
• Design reliable workflows and data synchronization across multiple SaaS platforms
• Write automation scripts in Python, Go, or similar languages to build internal tooling and services
• Build event-driven automation pipelines using APIs and webhooks
• Develop internal CLI tools, ChatOps integrations, and automation services for onboarding
• Identify and implement AI-driven workflows, such as LLM-driven knowledge retrieval and automated ticket triage
• Manage identity and access provisioning using Zero Trust architecture principles
• Ensure operational adherence to ISO frameworks and manage endpoint security via MDM

Requirements

• 8+ years in IT Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Systems Engineering, or Platform Engineering
• 3+ years in a senior role owning internal business systems at a SaaS/tech company
• Strong programming ability in Python, Go, Bash, or Node.js
• Experience operating GCP and AWS environments
• Deep working knowledge of macOS and Linux
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, OAuth, and webhooks
• Experience managing SSO, SAML, and SCIM provisioning
• Experience supporting security compliance audits like ISO 27001, SOC2, or GDPR

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing AI-driven automation using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience applying SRE principles (SLIs/SLOs) to internal IT services
