Responsibilities

• Create and implement automated configuration and deployment processes
• Establish and manage administrator and service accounts
• Utilize scripting tools to craft self-service capabilities within PaaS
• Collaborate with developers to diagnose and troubleshoot problems
• Take operational responsibility for services under team ownership
• Champion AI-augmented ways of working to accelerate delivery
• Participate in on-call rotations to support customer needs

Requirements

• 3-6 years in cloud/platform operations or related roles
• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Expertise in Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Terraform or other IaC tools
• Subject Matter Expertise in Linux Operating Systems
• Experience with scripting languages for automation
• Familiarity with networking (Load Balancers, DNS, SSL, Firewalls, etc.)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance for US Government work
• US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Linux/Unix command line interface
• Professional Certifications (RHCE, Linux+, MCSA, AWS, Security+, CISSP, or CCNA)
• Background in DevOps automation practices
• Direct experience in client interaction
