Platform Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the Platform Infrastructure by managing and scaling Amazon EKS, implementing GitOps workflows with ArgoCD, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions
• Build for Reliability by defining SLIs/SLOs, leading incident response, and contributing to disaster recovery planning
• Drive Observability by designing and maintaining monitoring and logging stacks using Datadog, Sentry, and CloudWatch
• Shape the Platform's Future by collaborating on architectural decisions and building internal self-service tooling

Requirements

• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure
• Strong experience with AWS services (VPC, IAM, EKS, RDS)
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Crossplane
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and automation
• Experience running production Kubernetes clusters and managing deployments via GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux) and Helm
• Proficiency with observability tools like Datadog, Sentry, CloudWatch, or Grafana
• Ability to write Python scripts for automation and system integration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Python certifications
