PMO Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators
• Oversee successful delivery of customer projects across multiple technology practices including Cloud, Network & Security, and Managed Services
• Establish project governance, delivery standards, and operational best practices
• Monitor portfolio health, including schedule, budget, scope, and resource utilization
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting to improve organizational visibility
• Manage PMO resource capacity, workload balancing, and staffing priorities
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Finance to improve project transitions and profitability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or Engineering
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
• 8+ years of experience leading Project Management teams within Professional Services or Technology Consulting
• Experience managing Senior Project Managers and Project Coordinators
• Strong knowledge of waterfall, hybrid, and agile methodologies
• Proven success delivering complex technology implementation projects
• Excellent executive communication and organizational leadership skills
• Must be based in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading PMOs within a Systems Integrator, VAR, or MSP
• Experience with PSA, ERP, or project management platforms like NetSuite, Smartsheet, Jira, or Monday.com
• Advanced certifications such as PMI-ACP or PgMP
• Experience with project financial management and resource planning
