Polish-English OPI/VRI Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally and adhere to the Interpreter's code of conduct
• Take accurate notes during calls and render all messages completely without adding, omitting, or substituting
• Apply specialized healthcare and medical vocabulary during interpretation sessions
• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient speakers and clients with accuracy and completeness
• Participate in internal professional training and pursue additional certifications
• Report to team leaders and comply with dress code requirements for video remote interpreting

Requirements

• Professional interpretation certification
• Knowledge of healthcare and medical vocabulary
• Dedicated wired internet connection with minimum 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds
• Windows 10 or higher operating system
• Computer with dual-core 2GHz processor (Intel Core i3 or superior)
• Minimum 8GB RAM
• Noise-cancelling wired headset with built-in microphone (no wireless/Bluetooth)
• Computer configured to "High Performance" mode with power adapter plugged in
