Polish VRI/OPI Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate Polish-English interpretation for OPI and VRI calls in healthcare and medical settings
• Render all messages completely and accurately without adding, omitting, or substituting content
• Apply professional standards of practice and interpreter code of conduct during calls
• Take detailed notes during calls and maintain awareness of industry-specific medical vocabulary
• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient speakers and clients
• Participate in internal professional training and pursue additional certifications
• Report to team leaders and comply with dress code requirements for video interpreting

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in Polish and English
• Knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology
• Dedicated wired internet connection with minimum 10 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload speeds
• Windows 10+ PC with dual-core 2 GHz processor and 8GB RAM minimum
• Noise-cancelling wired USB headset with built-in microphone (no wireless/Bluetooth)
• Professional interpreter certification preferred
