Responsibilities

• Perform light and full Post-Editing on Machine Translation outputs in accordance with client specifications
• Ensure target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source
• Provide corrections and text optimization based on MT output
• Follow post-editing guidelines to ensure quality standards meet client expectations
• Perform linguistic tasks using translation memory, glossaries, and style guides
• Ensure high grammatical accuracy, maintain key terminology, and spot cultural inconsistencies
• Correct formatting, tagging, punctuation, and fluency as per guidelines

Requirements

• Native speaker of Dutch
• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience
• Proven Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) experience
• Excellent command of English (comprehension and writing)
• Experience with Translation Memory tools and Translation Management Systems (TMS)
• Proficiency with SDL Studio and other CAT tools
• Expertise in IT/Software fields including Software UI and product documentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
