Job description

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and finalizing textile print files for production, including repeats, color setup, and technical specifications
  • Scaling designs accurately across multiple sizes while maintaining design integrity and proportion
  • Ensuring accuracy of layered files, including overlays, textures, and distressing elements
  • Supporting color consistency across various production formats to ensure alignment from digital to physical output
  • Reviewing and adjusting artwork based on samples and production feedback
  • Managing and organizing files with strong version control, naming conventions, and calendar adherence
  • Prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines
  • Identifying workflow efficiencies and contributing to process improvements

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of textile design or pre-production experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Textile Design or a related field
  • Expert level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong experience working with layered files, overlays, textures, and distressing techniques
  • Mac proficiency is required
  • Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interest in home and interior design textiles, specifically rug and carpet design
  • Experience with textile-specific software such as NedGraphics/Texcelle or Pointcarré
  • Familiarity with production workflows for home goods or soft goods in an e-commerce environment
