About the Company

ERGO NEXT is a technology-led, full-stack provider of small business insurance. Since 2016, they have helped hundreds of thousands of small business customers across the United States get fast, customized, and affordable coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full premium audit lifecycle for WC and GL lines of business
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing organization of managers and QA staff
  • Spearhead a comprehensive QA program to ensure accuracy in payroll and class codes
  • Manage external audit vendors and optimize assignment strategies
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Data Science to deploy AI-centric audit tools
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on production and quality trends
  • Resolve regulatory escalations and state inquiries

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or an insurance-related field
  • 10+ years of premium audit experience with multi-state WC and GL specialization
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including management of managers and QA teams
  • Advanced understanding of NCCI, WCIRB, and state regulatory rules
  • Strong technical adaptability with audit platforms and reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as MBA, MS, or CPA
  • Experience leading substantial product or technical implementations
  • Prior vendor management experience
