Principal Architect

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end security architecture for AI/ML systems, including training pipelines, inference infrastructure, and APIs
• Develop threat models for AI-specific attack surfaces such as model poisoning and prompt injection
• Lead design reviews and set standards for secure-by-default AI development
• Partner with ML engineers to embed security controls throughout the model lifecycle
• Translate AI-specific regulations like NIST AI RMF into architectural requirements
• Drive adoption of zero-trust principles and defense-in-depth across AI infrastructure

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in information security
• 5+ years of experience focused on cloud or platform architecture
• Deep hands-on expertise in securing ML/AI systems and LLMs
• Proficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including IAM and network segmentation
• Strong background in application security, cryptography, and SSDLC

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with NIST AI RMF governance frameworks
• Certifications such as CISSP or CCSP
• Published research or open-source contributions in AI/ML security
