Principal Consultant - Environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive environmental consulting strategies and solutions tailored to client needs
• Lead environmental impact assessments, audits, and compliance reviews
• Analyze complex environmental data and regulatory frameworks to provide actionable recommendations
• Manage client relationships at the executive level
• Oversee project teams and mentor junior consultants
• Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and sustainability standards in the UAE and Middle East
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Identify new business opportunities to grow the consulting practice
• Represent the organization at industry forums and regulatory meetings

Requirements

• Minimum 12+ years of professional experience in environmental consulting or sustainability advisory
• Expertise in environmental compliance and impact assessment methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of managing large-scale environmental projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience leading and mentoring teams
• In-depth knowledge of UAE and Middle East environmental regulations
• Proficiency in environmental management systems (ISO 14001, ESG frameworks)
• Project management expertise
• Proficiency with environmental analysis tools and data management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in environmental management or sustainability
• Experience in oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, or renewable energy sectors
• Knowledge of environmental audit procedures
