Principal Consultant, Incident Preparedness - Proactive Services (Unit 42)

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive incident preparedness projects, including TableTop Exercises (TTX), Incident Response Plans, and Response Maturity Assessments
• Review Crisis Management, Incident Response, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery Plans, supporting holistic business resilience
• Plan and deliver a range of TTXs, write post-exercise reports, and provide analysis and improvement recommendations
• Manage and contribute to incident preparedness and other cybersecurity engagements from initial scoping through delivery
• Perform travel requirements as needed (approximately 20%)

Requirements

• 8+ years of incident preparedness and/or incident response related consulting experience, with a passion for cybersecurity
• Experience leading complicated consulting engagements including scoping, client interfacing, and execution of incident preparedness/IR projects
• Incident response consulting experience required
• Incident preparedness experience required and is a core focus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field, or equivalent military experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience interfacing with key stakeholders (security teams, system/network administrators, C-Suite)
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural and remote environments
