Responsibilities

• Lead complex and high-impact modelling and analytical initiatives
• Set modelling strategy across the organization and drive novel work
• Leverage deep learning, LLMs, and traditional data science techniques to create hybrid models
• Prototype, prove, deploy, and realize the value of models in market quickly
• Solve challenges involving big data, federated learning, unstructured data, and time-series modelling
• Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and leadership to drive business value
• Manage the full MLOps lifecycle, including monitoring for drift and KPI impact

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar with 8+ years of experience
• OR Master's or Ph.D. in a related field with 5+ years of experience
• Expert-level knowledge of deep learning, ML algorithms, and the Python data science ecosystem
• Deep experience with natural language, medical data, or long-tail predictions
• Strong familiarity with MLOps model lifecycles and creating team standards
• Proven ability to be accountable for long-term model impact and technical debt management

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency with actuarial methods and working with actuaries
• Familiarity with healthcare and medical data
• Experience with underwriting, claims, or predicting rare events
