Principal Data Scientist

About the Role

As a Principal Data Scientist at Kaizen Gaming, you will architect scalable AI applications, lead the AI tribe, and define the company-wide AI technical roadmap to drive innovation and business success.

What You'll Do

• Architect scalable, high-performance AI applications and ML/DL algorithms.
• Tech-lead the AI tribe to deliver state-of-the-art models in production.
• Mentor data scientists to foster both technical and soft skill growth.
• Define the company-wide AI technical and product roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Provide end-to-end ownership of high-complexity projects from ideation to operationalization and maintenance.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of hands-on experience leveraging large-scale data to build ML/DL models with Python.
• PhD-level expertise in domains such as Recommendation Systems, NLP, Computer Vision, Time-series, Reinforcement Learning, or Graph Learning.
• Deep understanding of the ML development lifecycle and optimization.
• Proven track record of designing and scaling performant AI applications with MLOps practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for technical guidance and stakeholder management.

Nice to Have

• Expertise in genAI or agentic AI, including prompt design, optimization, and evaluation.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Apache Kafka, or Apache Flink.
