Principal Infrastructure Architect

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain target-state network architecture across cloud and on-premises environments
• Architect cloud network solutions in an Azure-first environment for scalability and secure connectivity
• Design and govern the network security edge using next-generation firewalls and zero-trust principles
• Guide the evolution of enterprise routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure
• Ensure network designs align with healthcare regulatory and security requirements (HIPAA)
• Champion automation and Infrastructure-as-Code approaches to network provisioning
• Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors to improve reliability and cost efficiency

Requirements

• 8+ years in enterprise networking with 3+ years in a formal network architecture role
• Hands-on experience designing cloud networking with depth in Microsoft Azure
• Strong background in network security, zero-trust architecture, and secure remote access
• Solid experience with enterprise routing, switching, and wireless technologies
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting such as Terraform, PowerShell, or Python
• Experience designing for high availability and resiliency in regulated environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications in cloud networking or network security
• Experience in healthcare or revenue cycle management
• Exposure to establishing architecture standards or review practices
