Principal Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement network requirements to meet customer and program objectives
• Create device mappings for VLAN microsegmentation in facility deployments
• Troubleshoot technical issues including OCI connections, VLAN configurations, and system-to-system interfaces
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and IHS policies
• Develop routing strategies to meet cybersecurity objectives
• Participate in cross-functional teams for implementing new vendor capabilities

Requirements

• Experience with FedRAMP-authorized cloud environments (OCI preferred)
• Prior experience with networking and cybersecurity for large Federal programs
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8+ years of experience supporting medium-to-large IT projects
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the year

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) systems
• Strong task management and organizational skills
• Ability to work across multiple U.S. time zones
