Responsibilities

• Lead product design across multiple high-impact initiatives from concept to production
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape strategy, user flows, and technical constraints
• Design for edge cases, error flows, and data integrity
• Evolve and scale Figure’s design system
• Mentor senior and mid-level designers
• Represent design at the executive level to communicate rationale and insights

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product design (UI/UX or interaction design)
• Proven track record of driving complex design projects from strategy through execution
• Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Suite
• Strong systems thinking and design systems experience
• Portfolio demonstrating high craft, problem framing, and technical tradeoff consideration
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and responsive design
• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, crypto, capital markets, or AI
• Knowledge of front-end technologies
• Experience defining organizational design vision or principles
