Principal QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end QA supervision for a portfolio of projects to ensure successful delivery within budget
• Develop detailed testing strategies, including technical planning, subtasking, and release criteria
• Research and implement new tools, frameworks, and processes to advance QA capabilities
• Set standards for testing and reporting and analyze testing metrics
• Mentor team members through coaching and structured code reviews
• Ensure the team understands acceptance criteria and tracks daily progress to increase velocity
• Conduct recruiting interviews to ensure high-quality hiring and contracting

Requirements

• 8-11+ years of professional experience in software testing and automation
• Deep expertise in developing end-to-end test frameworks using Selenium or Playwright
• Proficiency with C# and .NET or Java
• Strong experience with CI/CD integration using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
• Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or CoPilot
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and communicate technical value to client stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience via intensive programs or professional practice
• Experience working with large-scale web and mobile applications
