Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the tooling and services powering next-generation CI/CD pipelines, including GitOps deployment APIs and the shared TypeScript package ecosystem
• Lead the strategic evolution and stabilization of mission-critical deployment systems
• Drive technical direction for delivery tooling and the Go automation platform
• Design and build high-leverage components in Go and TypeScript/Node
• Shape the application of Agentic AI and Model Context Protocol to infrastructure automation
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and influence partner teams

Requirements

• 12+ years of backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience
• Proven track record of architecting and operating high-traffic, multi-team dependency platforms
• Strong experience in either GitOps/delivery tooling (ArgoCD, Helm) or backend platform/API engineering at scale
• Proficiency in Go and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s), serverless runtimes (GCP Cloud Run), and major cloud providers (GCP and AWS)
• Practical experience or theoretical depth in Agentic AI and MCP frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with durable execution (Temporal) and Terraform at scale
• Experience with multi-runtime delivery (Cloud Functions, Lambda)
• Experience co-owning a shared monorepo or platform across multiple teams
• Contributions to open-source infrastructure or developer-tooling projects
• Knowledge of Helm, Argo, and Istio
