Principal Software Engineer(Back End)

Responsibilities

• Define and drive strategic direction for frontend engineering practices and tooling
• Lead development of accessible, performant, and user-centered web applications
• Design and implement modern frontend architectures and deployment infrastructure
• Build and maintain component libraries and design systems
• Mentor and coach engineers at all levels
• Collaborate with product managers to balance UI/UX experience with implementation effort

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience
• Proven experience architecting modern frontend applications at scale using React and/or Angular
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508)
• Experience with automated testing (Playwright, Cypress, Jest)
• US Citizenship required and ability to obtain Public Trust 6C
