Responsibilities

• Review recorded DET sessions end-to-end, including onboarding and the main exam
• Document potential infractions within each session
• Make accurate, evidence-based validity decisions within expected timeframes
• Escalate sessions requiring secondary review or internal holds
• Complete monthly calibration sets to measure decision accuracy
• Participate in training modules and monthly remote team meetings
• Log time accurately and communicate blockers to leads

Requirements

• Expert English fluency
• Experience in language evaluation, teaching, or test proctoring
• TEFL, TESOL, or ESL certificate (120-hour min) plus 2+ years ESL experience, OR a BA/MA in Linguistics, TESOL, or Education
• Ability to interpret gestures, facial expressions, and behavioral cues from video
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Access to a private, secure computer or laptop (no tablets or mobile devices)
• Reliable high-speed internet (100 Mbps download/upload)
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Slack
• Availability to work weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ticketing tools like Zendesk, Jira, or Clearfeed
• Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or an Indian language
• Prior experience with asynchronous or remote proctoring platforms
• Experience with online test security or fraud detection
