About the Company

Metabolic is a specialist metabolic medicine clinic. We combine clinical depth with a digital-first patient experience across four areas: weight management and obesity, diabetes and pre-diabetes, cardiovascular risk, and hormonal and thyroid health.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Metabolic design system across web and mobile using Figma
• Design the full stack of digital touchpoints including patient apps, booking funnels, and clinician dashboards
• Utilize AI tools for design exploration and rapid prototyping
• Create data visualizations for biomarker data, scoring systems, and trend charts
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation and technical feasibility

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience designing digital products across mobile and web
• Proven experience owning or contributing to a design system
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end thinking and data visualization
• High proficiency in Figma (components, variables, auto-layout, prototyping)
• Working knowledge of AI-powered design tools
• Basic technical fluency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with user research and synthesis
• Ability to work effectively in small, fast-paced teams with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in health tech (patient-facing apps, clinical tools, or wearable data)
• Experience designing for regulated environments (GDPR, MHRA, CQC)
• Proficiency with prototyping tools like Framer or Webflow
