Responsibilities

• Design clear, usable interfaces for SmartAsset products from wireframes through high-fidelity mockups
• Produce well-organized design deliverables including user flows, mockups, and prototypes
• Collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, and marketing partners
• Apply usability and accessibility best practices to designs
• Use analytics and A/B test results to inform and iterate on work
• Contribute to and help maintain the shared design system and component library
• Support user research and testing sessions
• Present design decisions and incorporate feedback

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in UX/product design for web or mobile applications
• Portfolio showing clean interface work and clear user flows
• Proficiency in Figma
• Ability to incorporate feedback from cross-functional partners
• Solid grasp of core UX and visual design fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to data-informed design or A/B testing
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
• Experience with design systems
• Interest in fintech or regulated industries
• Experience in Agile environments
• Degree in Design, HCI, or related field
