Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, high-impact interfaces for surgical and hospital teams
• Move across the full product lifecycle from discovery and research to high-fidelity design
• Build functional, testable prototypes using AI tools rather than static mockups
• Work closely with clinicians, engineers, and product stakeholders to balance usability with clinical realities
• Map human-AI interaction workflows including prompting, output review, and error correction

Requirements

• Solid product design fundamentals with ability to deliver production-ready interfaces
• Fluency in AI-native design and rapid AI-assisted prototyping
• Proficiency in AI tooling such as Claude, Cursor, v0, Bolt, or Replit
• Practical knowledge of front-end implementation principles
• Experience designing for AI UX challenges like uncertainty, trust, and system explainability
• Ability to work independently in a remote contractor setup

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for healthcare, clinical, or high-complexity operational environments
